Breather vents: Pressure equalization and correct ventilation
On the one hand, the air vents from Metalltechnik Dechant prevent the build-up of negative and positive pressure in closed components. They also keep out contaminants such as dust or water, thereby protecting the devices.

Product description:
- Ventilation values such as those achieved with our filters are not possible with turned parts.
- The innovative design makes leaks in pumps and gearboxes almost impossible. The specially designed inlet flaps serve as the first pressure and oil separator (from size M 18). The subsequent oil collecting cap additionally relieves the excess pressure and separates oil + air.
- Dust and splash-proof to IP 54.
- All threads are self-sealing + self-locking rolled in accordance with DIN 158.
- All sizes can be supplied with oil scales.

Product description:
- Our deep-drawn filters enable improved ventilation values due to the larger internal space.
- The innovative construction makes leaks in pumps and gearboxes almost impossible. The specially designed inlet lugs serve as initial pressure and oil separation (from size M 18). The subsequent wire mesh also relieves the excess pressure and separates oil + air.
- Dust and splash-proof to IP 54.
- The smaller sizes (M5, M6, M8, M10, R1/8") are turned in the conventional way.
- Sizes from M 24 to 1 1/4" are manufactured with cap.
- All threads of the deep-drawn filters are self-sealing + self-locking rolled in accordance to in favor to DIN 158.
